As ribbons of color and light dance around them…..
The inspiration for this piece came to me one day as I was meditating & praying. The spirit being “Love” walked into my room, surrounded by beams of colored ribbons of light. This encounter repeated itself the following Sunday during worship, The next Sunday Hope showed up as well and they both danced around the room. That service our pastor saw & spoke about Faith, Hope & Love being present & always running together. I then knew a painting was about to be birthed. A few days later when discussing this encounter with a spiritual mom, she pointed out that in Hebrew, the words Faith, Joy, Hope & Love are all feminine nouns. It was my confirmation why these beings appeared to me as women. I was wow’ d! A few weeks of planning, sketching, throwing away ideas, and a lot of prayer…I had found the heart of what God wanted to release.
- "Faith” looks to heaven, and she is filled with “Joy”, the 4th, unseen, mysterious one.
- Faith connects her substance to “Hope” who, filled with peace she knowingly scans the horizon.
- “Love”, leading the way, holds them in place. With a fire in her eyes she blows the essence of God YHVH onto us, which becomes a river of glory light for us to step into and stay awhile.
